Recent quarkonium results at Belle IIPublic
Belle II offers unique possibilities for discovering and interpreting exotic multiquark bound states to probe the fundamentals of QCD. This talk presents recent results on a unique data set collected at energies above the Y(4S), including searches for the hidden bottom transition between Y(10750) and chi_bJ(1P).

Determination of the Cabibbo-Koyabashi-Maskawa matrix elements |Vcb| and |Vub| at Belle and Belle II Public
A precise knowledge of the elements |𝑉𝑐𝑏| and |𝑉𝑒𝑏| of the CKM matrix is important to constraint the Standard Model of particle physics and predict the rate of ultra-rare 𝐡 meson decays such as π΅β†’πœ‡πœˆ or π΅β†’πΎπœˆπœˆΒ―. In this talk I will review the experimental status of these fundamental parameters with a focus on the latest developments and new results …

Semileptonic $B$-meson decays including $b \rightarrow c$ anomalies at Belle IIPublic
We present recent measurements of semileptonic $B$-meson decays using a data sample collected at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance by the Belle~II experiment corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $189\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. We determine the CKM-matrix elements $V_\mathrm{cb}$ using untagged $B^0 \to D^{*-} \, \ell^{+} \, \nu_\ell$ decays and $V_\ma…

Electroweak penguins and radiative B decays at Belle IIPublic
Decays of B mesons involving the transition of a b quark into an s quark are good probes of physics beyond the standard model. Such decays are studied at the Belle II experiment, a detector located along the SuperKEKB electron-positron collider, and with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 189 fbβˆ’1 collected at the energy of the Ξ₯(4S…

Recent tau and dark-sector results at Belle IIPublic
Belle has unique sensitivity to a broad class of models that postulate the existence of dark matter particles with MeVβ€”GeV masses. In addition, the low-background environment of electron-positron collisions along with the large expected sample size and an hermetic detector make Belle II the premier experiment for studying tau-lepton physics. This …

Recent Belle II results on hadronic B decaysPublic
The investigation of B-meson decays to charmed and charmless hadronic final states is a keystone of the Belle II program. Analyses of such decays provide reliable and experimentally precise constraints on the CKM Unitarity Triangle fit, are sensitive to effects from non-SM physics, and further knowledge about uncharted b->c hadronic transitions. W…

Recent Belle II results on time-dependent CP violation and charm physicsPublic
Measurements of time dependent CP violation are chief goals of the Belle II physics program. Comparisons of penguin-dominated b-> qqbar s to tree-dominated b-> ccbar s results allow for stringent tests of CKM unitarity that are sensitive to non-SM physics, but require excellent vertexing capabilities. After presenting recent world-leading results …

Recent Belle II results on semileptonic B decays and LFU testsPublic
Semileptonic B decays allow to determine the magnitudes of the CKM matrix parameters |V_cb| and |V_ub|, two fundamental parameters of the SM flavor sector. In addition, the observed rate of semitauonic B decays has been consistently above expectations since these decays were first measured. At Belle II these measurements use both exclusive decays …

Suppressing Beam Background and Fake Photons at Belle II Using BDTsPublic
The Belle II experiment situated at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric 𝑒+π‘’βˆ’ collider began operation in 2019. It has since recorded half of the data collected by its predecessor, and reached a world record instantaneous luminosity of 4Γ—10^34 cm^-2s^-1. For distinguishing decays with missing energy from background events at Belle II, the residual calo…

Dark sectors and Ο„ physics at Belle IIPublic
The possibility of dark sectors weakly coupling to Standard Model (SM) particles through new light mediators is explored at the Belle II experiment. We present here results from three different searches, for a long-lived (pseudo)scalar particle; for a di-tau resonance in four-muon final states events and the update on the search for a Zβ€² boson dec…
